Forest Kindergarten

Ages 5-8 years old

3 hour class- Available Spring 2024- Monday, Wednesday, Thursday

*For the 2024-2025 school year, Forest Kindergarten will be changed to Pathfinders Homeschool Enrichment Program Ages 6-10*

Let your child flourish in the forest. Our curriculum is a blend of Waldorf principles, European forest school approaches, and rooted in play-based practices.

Each day we offer unstructured play as an important time for children to socialize, express ideas, problem solve, explore and connect to nature. We take a wellness moment for children to reflect and observe their surroundings. Long periods of exploration and discovery are offered along with a daily lesson and activity. Classes are 3 hours long.

We currently offer morning sessions during the school year. Students can attend one to three days a week. Each day will have a specialty focus to enrich the outdoor nature school experience.

Forest Kindergarten is an 11 week series available this Spring. We are exclusively outdoors and put up our own shelters when it is raining, snowing or windy.
